Paramount Pictures, whose new film “Bob Marley: One Love” was recently released worldwide”, is actively working on the next biopic dedicated to the popular musical group Bee Gees. According to insiders, the post of director is offered to Ridley Scott, negotiations with whom are already underway. In case of successful completion of the deal, Ridley Scott and Michael Pruss (Scott Free), Graham King (GK Films), as well as Stacey Snyder will share the duties of executive producers. John Logan, who worked with Ridley Scott on “Gladiator” and “Alien: Covenant,” wrote the script.
Insiders claim that the choice fell on Ridley Scott for several reasons. Firstly, he has just completed work on “Gladiator 2” and studio executives were very impressed with the preview footage. Secondly, the British director is known for quickly moving from one project to another, so the studio decided not to delay and immediately presented a fresh version of the script.
